My first year in this business, I met a young woman who wanted to start her own sock brand. She had a logo, a color palette, and a lot of excitement in her eyes. She had done her homework. She knew what she wanted. She was ready to go. Then she asked the factory the question that changed everything: "What's your minimum order?"
"Five hundred pairs," they said.
Her face just dropped. She didn't have the budget for five hundred pairs. She didn't have the storage space either. She wasn't running a big operation—she was just someone with a good idea and the guts to try. She walked away. I never saw her again.
That moment stayed with me for years. How many good ideas die because the bar is just too high? How many people never get to test their product because factories won't say yes to small orders? It bothered me more than I could put into words.
So we set our minimum at 50 pairs. Some people might ask, what's the difference between 50 and 500? The difference is everything. 50 pairs fit in the trunk of your car. 50 pairs are enough to send to friends and early supporters to test the waters. 50 pairs are an amount you can afford to lose if it doesn't work out. It's low enough that you won't hesitate, but high enough that we can still deliver the quality you deserve.
That's what makes SOXFUN different. We don't believe a good idea should be killed by a minimum order that's too high. Fifty pairs, five hundred, five thousand—we treat every order the same. Because we know that behind every order, there's someone taking a real step forward. That step deserves a "yes," not a "come back when you're bigger."
If you have questions, ask. We'll get back to you the same day. We don't leave people hanging.
