Where to Put Your Logo on a Sock

Colorful custom socks photographed for Soxfun

I spend my days looking at logos. Big ones, small ones, simple ones, complicated ones—if you can imagine it, I've probably seen it. The question I get more than any other is: "Where should I put my logo on the sock?"

The honest answer is—it depends on what you're going for.

If you want it to be seen when someone's sitting with their legs crossed or in a meeting with their feet up—put it on the cuff. The top of the sock is the classic spot for a reason. It's clean, it's visible, and it works well for most logos that are wider than they are tall.

If you want something bolder—put it on the leg. The main body of the sock is where you can make more of a statement. Slogans, vertical text, full patterns—they all work better here.

If you want to have a little fun—put it on the sole. No one sees it at first, but when they do, it's always a nice surprise. It's like a small secret between you and the person wearing them.

Not sure which one to go with? Send us your logo and we'll show you all three options. We don't charge for it. You only go ahead when you're happy with what you see.
